ciao
sapete dirmi ke differenze ci sono tra le due??
poi ke differenze ci sono tra la pci 324 e pci 424??

perche ho visto ke su ebay all'estero la mk2 viene venduta a soli 200e mentre l'altra a molto di piu..

La 424 è la più recente, con più opzioni, come ad esempio il CueMixDSP, che una specie di mixer interno che consente di gestire ingressi/uscite/monitoring in modo avanzato e a bassissima latenza. http://www.motu.com/products/pciaudio/2408/cuemixdsp.html/en

La 424 è compatibile anche con le schede precedenti, invece la 324 solo con le schede realizzate nello stesso periodo.

grazzie x la risposta.. nel fratempo ho mandato una mail alla motu e mi ha risposto cosi:

The new 2408MK3 provides 96khz sampling rates on all analog and
digital I/O. The 2408Mk3 has a built in synchronizer for video sync,
word sync, and SMPTE sync. The 2408M3 ships with the PCI 424 card,
which provides four Audiowire ports and DSP mixing for 96 input to
output with 1.6ms patch through delay.
The 2408MKII has improved analog connections over the original 2408.
The original 2408 had RCA jacks that were unbalanced and fixed at -10db
line reference. The 20 bit converters on the 2408 got 98 db of dynamic
range.
The 2408 MKII has TRS balanced/unbalanced 1/4 phone jacks for the
analog connectors. Signal level is switchable between +4 and -10 db.
The converters are 24 bit with a dynamic range of 105 db. All other
specs on the 2408 MKII are the same as the original 2408. The cost of
the 2408 MKII is the same as the 2408.

l'unico problema è che io non capisco niente di inglese .. qualke anima gentile non è che mi puo fare un breve riassunto?

La nuova 2408MK3 offre 96khz di sampling rate su tutti gli IN e OUT. Ha un sincronizzatore per video sync, word sync, e SMPTE sync.
La 2408M3 è fornita insieme alla PCI 424 card,
che mette a disposizione 4 porte Audiowire e DSP mixing per 96 ingressi e
uscite conh 1.6millisecondi di latenza.
La 2408MKII ha connessioni analogiche migliori rispetto alla 2408.
La 2408 aveva jack RCA sbilanciati a -10db.
I 20 bit di conversione della 2408 offrono un range di dinamica fino a 98 db.

La 2408 MKII ha connessioni jack TRS bilanciate e sbilanciate.. Il livello di segnale può essere +4 e/o -10 db.
I convertitori sono a 24 bit con un range di dinamica di 105 db. Tutte le altre caratteristiche tra i due modelli sono simili, compreso il prezzo.
