Three new
VST-Instruments have been added to all versions of Cubase VST 5.1
and are present
in addition to the previously existing instruments. These
are:

JX-16
The JX-16 is
the largest single addition to the instrument line-up in Cubase
VST 5.1.
This powerful
and flexible virtual analogue synthesizer offers an incredibly
broad range of
high-quality synth sounds needed for creating many forms of
electronic
music. The combination of virtual analogue modelling and a

high-performance filter section puts a huge variety of sounds at your
disposal.

Polyphonic - the polyphony setting for each patch is user
programmable.

and high quality sound (low aliasing distortion).

Filter - Lowpass, Bandpass and Hipass filter modes are

Lock1 enables the creation of pulse and square waveforms with
classic PWM

CS-40
The CS-40
provides a logically constructed user interface for a
dual-oscillator
virtual analogue synthesizer engine to allow quick and easy
sound creation.

new 24-bit drum machine which offers as standard a much

parameters that can be synchronized to the song tempo.

specific comb filter effects dependent upon the MIDI input signal

track. The only way to realize the possibilities is to
experiment!

Mysterizer
Complete and
musical control over weird and wonderful effect automations. A
two-dimensional

between the positioning of the mouse pointer to determine the
effect level.

sounding Leslie speaker simulation plug-in. Obvious application

inertia controls.
