Sono solo dei rivenditori, non è un servizio di promozione per pinchi pallini

Il loro problema non è quello di arricchire il catalogo numericamente, ma di acquisire materiale che poi produca degli utili.

La loro iniziativa che va più vicino ad una sorta di servizio di promozione è questa

mm credo che ci sono servizi tipo a pagamento tipo zimbalam in cui si paga e il prodotto venga distribuito !
ma mettiamo caso che sono editore e registrato alla siae , che dovrei fare per distribuire tramite beatport?

Baseware can help you distribute your music to Beatport and other services such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Stompy and more. We would be happy to send more information on this service, and it will be a great opportunity to release your music.

Here's a few requirements you should be aware of before submitting your label for consideration:

1. We require you have a minimum of 3 complete EP or album releases ready to go. For new labels we will not consider single tracks for evaluation as releases.

2. You should have a label established, complete with a Logo.

3. We will need a basic outline of your plan for the label over the next year. (How many releases do you plan on putting out, what are some of the artists and remixers you already have lined up and signed, etc.)

4. You must be independent from any other shops or distribution companies, as we are currently offering an exclusive distribution deal, where we will take care of all digital distribution for you.

If you meet these basic requirements, please have your 3 releases (at least) ready to go, and also include links for us to preview your music (streaming only please, no downloads). Soundcloud is our preferred way to review your submission. It's important for us to be able to approve the music you wish to release. We will not be able to accept any music that involves copyright infringement or unlicensed samples, so please do not submit anything that you don't own or have rights to sell and distribute.

Che si paghi o meno mi sembra l'informazione meno rilevante al momento.

Il punto è se uno ha i requisiti che richiedono.

Quella mail è una risposta abbastanza standard che serve come filtro di ingresso, e lo specificano loro stessi.

Nel momento in cui capiscono di avere di fronte quello che per loro è un interlocutore (un etichetta accreditata), allora scenderanno più nel dettaglio.

Tra le righe stanno dicendo: "se non sei un etichetta lascia perdere".
