Topic: Problema con scheda audio motu

Salve ragazzi, ho appena acquistato una motu audio express, solo che purtroppo ad ogni avvio di cubase, o sound forge o windows media player, sento un fastidioso click, da un solo monitor (il destro) una volta che uno dei programmi si è avviato il click sparisce...sapete da cosa può dipendere? e come porre rimedio?

Per favore non aprire un nuovo thread per ogni singola domanda, se il tema centrale è sempre lo stesso (la tua scheda audio e la sua configurazione corretta).
Queste cose accadono mentre Cubase è già aperto ?

si scusami per aver creato un nuovo post...
lo fa soltanto appena è in fase di apertura del software, quindi su cubase, sound forge e windows media player, uno volta aperto un progetto di cubase o sound forge il click sparisce

quindi no mentre cubase è aperto, non c'è nessun tipo di rumore o click...

La mia domanda era diversa, BTW non saprei dire di cosa si tratta.
Prova a cambiare/spostare i cavi di uscita per vedere se il rumore si sposta sull'altro monitor.
Prova inoltre a spegnere i monitor e a sentire se il rumore c'è anche in cuffia.

provato lo fa anche in cuffia, molto meno evidente ma c'è...credo sia la stessa cosa se inverto i cavi...

ciao Maurix, ho scritto alla motu e mi hanno risposto, è un problema di windows 7 se si usa la scheda collegata fireware..ecco cosa mi hanno scritto:
Since you're on Windows 7, this may involve an issue with this operating system's driver for firewire controllers. Follow the instructions from the link below to revert this driver to a legacy version, which generally resolves this issue. If not, let me know so we can dig into this further.
e questa è la soluzione, che a me non ha funzionanto:
Due to a problem with the default FireWire (IEEE 1394) driver in Windows 7, MOTU FireWire audio interfaces may exhibit symptoms such as audio artifacts or dropouts during audio playback or recording or while an audio client program uses the driver program. This issue has been reported to Microsoft, and a change to the MOTU FireWire audio driver that will avoid the problem is planned if a patch from Microsoft is not available when the next MOTU driver update is released.
At this time, it is possible to work around the problem by configuring Windows to use an older version of the FireWire controller driver:
Disconnect the MOTU FireWire audio interface from the computer or turn it off.
Turn on the computer, start Windows 7, and log in to your Windows user account.
Open the Device Manager program:
Open the Control Panel.
Choose System and Security.
Choose System.
Choose Device Manager from the list of items on the left side of the window.
Expand the IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers section.
Double-click the FireWire controller device to which your audio interface is connected. This will open the Properties dialog.
Choose the Driver tab, and click the Update Driver button to open the Update Driver Software dialog.
Choose Browse my computer for driver software. Then choose Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. Select the Show compatible hardware option.
In the list of Models, choose 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy), and then click Next.
After the driver software has been updated successfully, click Close to close the dialog.
Reconnect the MOTU FireWire audio interface to the computer or turn it on.

ciao Maurix, è una vera sola questa scheda su windows 7 64bit, fa la stessa identica cosa anche se collegata usb, la vendo!
