when I export and audio file that sounds without noise to from 96 khz, to 44,1 the reslut file, has noise like little but contiuous clicks, If I do the same with the same file in cool edit pro, there is no noise, but the final sound cuality is a little less but clean. What is the problem. I suppose cubase would make it well.

I never tried to do it , but i'm afraid it's a bug . (Btw , what version are you using ? ) maybe it's time for an update You could try exporting before from 96 to 48 Khz and see what happen , an then to 44.1 . Let me know ,

yes, I have tried all possibilities, See what i“ve learned , downsampling always has the problem to appear false frequencies in the final track, that“s what says the help in Cool Edit Pro. I have 5.1 version and what happened was that I never realized that problem until I“ve recorded a single hihg cualtity track with very good mics and very good preamps. In a song with many tracks the noise can be perceptible, but after that I tried to downsample a multitrack song with Cubase and with Cool Edit, the result is that Cubase lost much cuality sound comparing with Cool Edit, even no noise is heared, this is because downsampling and upsampling requires to special sofware to avoid false frequecies and keep the original cuality. Try that with both and tell me.

Sorry wanted to say that "on a multitrack song the noise can not be perceptible" but the cuality is less.
