Ho installato "OnyX", ho lanciato tutte le routine di manutenzione tranne la riparazione dei privilegi; poi ho riavviato, ho aperto "Utility disco" e ho fatto la riparazione dei privilegi.
Risultato: l'ho usato per un'ora senza problemi. Prima dopo 2/3 minuti spariva la scheda audio.

Questa è la procedura per OnyX che ho preso da un altro forum (Cubase.net):

Install OnyX and run it.

Click on maintain tab.

Deselect 'verify and repair permissions.'
Select maintain scripts, subslelct 'all'
Select 'optimize system' (pre-bind), sub select complete optimization.
Select update locate database and update wahtis database.

Execute.

Now go to the cleaning tab.

In the first box, select everything on the left hand side. The stuff on the right is not necessary.

In the second box, select everything. For system cache, choose clean all.

In the last box, don't select anything for now.

Execute.

Re-boot system.
