Hi, Can we first apologise for typing in English. None of the team speak Italian so if someone would like to translate this post we would be very grateful.
OK, Seeing that the news about www.patcharena.com has spread to Italy already we thought that we would come and introduce ourselves and tell you a bit more about what the project is about.
So...are there many people out there patching VSTi, DXI or AU plugins? If so we would like to hear from you :-)
A lot of people we ask do just tend to use just the presets that come with a plugin and don't have any interest in going beyond just tweaking these to suit their needs. This is fine and is one of the reasons why we started this project...to provide a one-stop resource for free banks and patches, and a place to share your own banks and patches for all of you sound designers out there!
The project has been going on for quite some time now and we have now established an active 'patch design team'. If we consider the patches that you send in to be of a high quality then we may ask you to become part of this team.
Obviously, only people that were contributing patches regularly and these were of a consistant professional quality will be asked but we are sure that there are a lot of you out there that fit the bill!
If you do have any patches that you want us to make available in our database then please send them in to submissions@patcharena.com

Anyway, that's what we are all about. I'll keep an eye on these forums for any further questions that you might have.
