CIAO HO UN LAPTOP E HO COMPRATO LA SCHEDA FIREWIRE 410 DELLA M-AUDIO...
FACCIO L' ISTALLAZIONE E TUTTO OK....
SPIPPOLO PER VEDERE QUANTO STABILE E AD UN CERTO PUNTO MI VA IN CRASH..RIAVVIO IL PC E I DRIVER DELLA SCHEDA NON RIESCONO A LEGGERE LA PERIFERICA...
DISINTALLO E REINSTALLO IL TUTTO...PERO' Cè UN GROSSO PROBLEMA, LA PRIMA PARTE DELL' ISTALLAZIONE è OK..MI DICE RIAVVIA IL SISTEMA E ACCENDI LA SCHEDA ( XP LEGGERà AUTOMATICAMENTE IL NUOVO HW CONNESSO AL FIREWIRE) E INVECE NON LO LEGGE...COME FARE?
HO PROVATO MILLE VOLTE, SONO ANDATO IN GESTIONE PERIFERCHE LEGGE CHE Cè' UN PROBLEMA MA NN FUNZIONA NE IL RIPRISTINO DEI DRIVER NE L' AGGIORNA DRIVER....
PREMETTO CHE HO ISTALLATO REAL PLAYER, WIN AMP CHE LEGGONO FILE AUDIO...DANNO CONFLITTO?
COME ULTIMA COSA..LA SCHEDA AUDIO INCORPORATA LA DEVO DISABILITARE E SE SI COME FACCIO?
DATEMI UNA MANO PLEASE!

winamp e realplayer nn dovrebbero darti problemi. per disabilitare la scheda integrata devi andare nel BIOS (canc durante l'accensione del computer). Non so' aiutarti su cio che realmente è il tuo probblema. mi dispiace

hai fatto la "doppia" procedura di installazione dei driver?
Sul sito m-audio lo spiegano in dettaglio.

After the computer has rebooted, connect the FireWire 410 to your computer’s
FireWire port and power it on.
The New Hardware Wizard will open.
Choose the default selection, “Install the software automatically.” Click Next.
Windows will locate and install the FireWire 410 Bootloader files.
Once the Bootloader installation is complete, Windows will locate the FireWire 410
driver files.
The New Hardware Wizard will run a second time to install the
FireWire 410 driver software.
Once again, select the default selection, “Install the software automatically” and
click Next. Windows will install the driver files. You will again be prompted by the

Windows Logo testing notice – again, click Continue Anyway and proceed with
the full installation.
When you see the “M-Audio FireWire 410 Installed Successfully” screen, click Finish
to complete the installation.
Your FireWire 410 is now ready to use.
cioè come accade nelle installazioni delle interfaccemidi m-audio, gli devi far "sentire" i drivers 2 volte.
