Now, recording digital audio with 24-bit samples is no longer the exclusive domain of high-end pro studios. The Wave/824 interface sets a new standard for digital audio performance at an amazingly affordable price. In addition to excellent sonic clarity and audio headroom for the most demanding recording sessions, the Wave/824 has a full complement of pro audio features like balanced analog inputs and outputs and +4dBu audio levels. Don't limit yourself to transitional, 20-bit technology -- get ready today for the future of high resolution audio and DVD with 24-bit recording.

questo è quello che ho trovato sulla scheda in questione (la pacthbox inclusa)...al prezzo di 499$...

io non la conosco...ma il prezzo che ti propongono sembra interessante...

The Wave/824 interface is the primary recording connection from your audio mixer and other gear to your PC. With 8 inputs, you can record multiple musicians or instruments simultaneously and capture the special magic of live performances. The 8 outputs give you the flexibility to add audio effects externally or to audition multi-channel mixes for surround-sound. For special convenience, the Wave/824 includes stereo pairs of balanced XLR inputs and outputs for direct connection of a microphone preamp or a power amplifier. Quiet operation is ensured with a very low impedance electrical design. A buffered MIDI interface is included for quick connection to other music gear.

The Wave/824 interface comes ready to record and includes an adapter card for the PCI bus as well as a patch bay for audio connections. Installation is simple plug and play with no switches. Our extensive PC software driver support makes the Wave/8Ÿ24 easy to use with popular audio applications (eg. Cakewalk, Cubase VST, Cool Edit Pro, Acid, Sound Forge, Quartz, etc).

With room to grow, you can add a second or third Wave/824 interface for easy expansion to 16 or 24 channels. And for digital interfacing, a 24-bit S/P DIF interface can be added as a "daughtercard" option. To sum it up, the Wave/824 interface delivers unprecedented flexibility and value for pro quality recording.
