Topic: UC-33 in Cubase 5 COME CONFIGURARLO ???

salve a tutti! scusate se salto i convenevoli e passo subito alla descrizione del mio problema...
ho un controller Evolution UC-33e e vorrei usarlo in cubase 5 per controllare appunto i canali volume e poter assegnare ad ogni potenziometro le funzioni desiderate, includendo anche le funzioni base Play e Stop, ma non riesco a configurarlo in alcun modo!!! le ho provate propio tutte... premetto che ho da poco cambiato pc con Win 7 e scaricato anche il driver aggiornato direttamente dal sito della M-Audio, ma sembra che non sia servito a nulla. Trall'altro anche prima quando adoperavo Win XP con Cubase Sx2 il problema era lo stesso... dappertutto leggo che l'UC-33 può funzionare in Cubase, ma come???
La cosa che poi mi lascia perplesso è che in Ableton Live, Guru Fx-Pansion o un Fruity Loops il controller funziona correttamente ![[Confused]](confused.gif)
...stavo addirittura valutando l'idea di venderlo se non riuscivo a risolvere il problema in questione ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
...Sicuramente ci sarà qualcosa che continuo a sbagliare, c'è qualcuno in grado di aiutarmi??? e di mostrarmi ancora meglio l'esatta procedura?

...la sezione che mi hai linkato l'avevo già letta, ed ho provato ad adattarla senza soluzione su C5, ma il problema è che i comandi nelle impostazioni son parecchio diverse da cubase sx.
In C5 in periferiche remote mi compaiono i "quick control" che mi servon a ben poco Periferiche Remote / controlli rapidi
e quaesti parametri rimangono tali anche dopo aver appunto caricato una GM Device Cubase 5 Gestione Periferiche
e richiamato i preset appositi dal controller
...trallaltro la funzione "learn" in periferiche remote sembra non cambiare alcunchè, nonostante il segnale midi venga visualizzato da C5... ![[Wall]](graemlins/wall.gif)

nessun altro consiglio o dritta su come configurare l'UC-33 e Cubase 5??? nessun altro ha mai avuto questo problema?

la procedura si trova a pg. 11 del quick start (in inglese)
1. Launch your Steinberg application.
2. Go to the Devices menu (in Cubase VST its “Options”) and select “Device Setup”.
3. Select “Generic Remote”.
4. In the right hand side of the window appearing click on “Import”
5. Make sure you insert your Evolution CD-Rom.
6. Locate the file called UC-33 SX Multichannel and channel strip.xml in the
following path: UC-33 Application Files/Cubase and click “Open”.
7. Select the MIDI IN, in the Generic Remote window.
8. Select the UC-33 driver
9. Close the Device Setup by clicking “OK”.
10. Open the small Generic Remote window by going to
'Devices' – 'Generic Remote'.
You can now easily switch between the 1-48 multichannel settings and the channel
strip setting by selecting them from this window.
11. On the UC-33 select preset 01 (10).
This preset controls Channels 1-8, 17-24 and 33-40 depending on what setting
has been selected in the software Generic Remote window.
12. Change the Generic Remote window to “Channel strip”.
The Channel Strip setup gives you full control of Send levels, the 4 band EQ,
Insert FX selection, Volume, Panning L-R and Front-Rear, Output selection and
overall Master Volume. The setup will control your currently selected mixer
channel, so you can jump quickly between channels.
13. Select preset 10 for channels 9-16, 25-32 and 41-48 and change to the appropriate window in the Generic Remote.
in pratica, devi usare il preset 1 del' UC33
apri cubase, vai in periferiche/impostazioni periferiche clicca sul "+" in altro a sinistra e carica una generic remote map
poi dalla finestra generic remote carica, mediante il comando importa, la mappa in formato XML che trovi nel cd di installazione dell'UC33. assegna come ingresso/uscita midi l'uc33 e sei a posto
in questo modo (assegnando il midi in/out) dovrebbe funzionare anche il learn
