Registered users of ABSYNTH 1 have the following update options:

1) ABSYNTH 1 purchased before February 1, 2003: Paid update.
Requirement: ABSYNTH 1 has been registered online with NI

1) The “ABSYNTH 2 Update Package” (boxed version) will be available in the NI Online Shop for 99 Euro/Dollar. Includes installation CD for Mac and Windows plus printed handbook.

2) The “ABSYNTH 2 Download Update” will be available as an online download for 69 Euro/Dollar from the NI Online Shop. Includes ABSYNTH 2 installer for Mac and Windows plus a short PDF handbook. After confirmation of details and registration the customer will receive a special download link per email that can be used to obtain the update.

2) ABSYNTH 1 purchased after February 1, 2003: Free update.
Requirements: Proof of purchase and online registration for ABSYNTH 1.

3) The “Grace Period Update” is a free download update for customers who purchased ABSYNTH 1 after February 1, 2003. Send and email or fax with complete address information and purchase receipts to:

If you would like to receive the ABSYNTH 2 grace period update by mail including a printed handbook there is a handling fee of 19,- Euro/Dollar.
